Ric Flair is considered by many to be one of the greatest wrestling stars in the world today and for good reason, as his career spanned more than fifty years at this point as he was a part of WWE and other major wrestling organizations. As the wrestling legend prepares for his final match next month, Flair took the opportunity to share what he was set to look like at the show taking place as part of the Starrcast.

In a recent discussion with the “Two Man Power Trip Podcast,” Flair didn’t speak up when it came to the idea that if he was 35 today, neither WWE nor AEW could afford him:
“If I’m 35 right now, they can’t afford me, and they need help with the ratings right now, and they both [laughs]. Those written interviews, you can see if the kids feel it or not, there’s a lot of pressure to read about something you don’t feel in your heart. This is a big difference. If they think about what they are handed to be safe, they put no emotion into it. This is just general speaking. Don’t sell tickets. When The Rock returns to wrestle Roman (Reigns), that will sell out tickets. When Steve Austin returned, he sold out tickets. It’s a different time frame,”
Starrcast describes Ric Flair’s final match as suchwith this latest exhibition scheduled for next month on July 31:
On July 31 at 6:05 p.m. EDT, “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair, considered by many to be the greatest professional wrestler of all time, is set to return to the ring, one last time, as part of “Jim Crockett Promotions Presents.” : Ric Flair’s Last Match event. Set in the world-famous Nashville Fairgrounds, the former 16-time World Heavyweight Champion will wear a new custom-made gown and bring the unique show spirit that has made Flair a cultural icon for more than 40 years in professional wrestling.”
